How to: Change DOS program configurations using AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Solution:
Specify the configuration under the 'Advanced' button found on the 'Program' tabbed page in the 'Properties' dialog box for the DOS application.
Windows 95 allows the user to define the Autoexec.bat and Config.sys file configurations for DOS applications.
1) Right-click the DOS application's icon. (The pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Properties'. (The 'Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Program' tab. (The 'Program' tabbed page appears.)
4) Click 'Advanced...'. (The 'Advanced Program Settings' dialog box appears.)
5) Select the 'MS-DOS mode' check box.
6) Select the 'Specify a new MS-DOS configuration' radio button.

7) Type the desired configuration in the edit windows for this DOS application.
NOTE: The configuration needed for particular DOS applications varies. Refer to a specific application's documentation.
8) (Optional) Use common configuration options.
a) Click 'Configuration...'.
NOTE: A warning window may appear; if so, click 'Yes'.
